A Sweater for Ms. New York II

So, I watched the I Love New York - Season One marathon this Saturday to catch up on things and really reconnect with our favorite celebriality diva, Ms. New York. And after reviewing my options, I have decided to go with the Donna pattern by, Caryn Lantz, which is offered on the MagKnits site.

I love this pattern! It is a beautiful, elegant sweater that capitalizes on a real woman’s assets. Plus, given Ms. New York’s ...recent additions.., I needed to find a pattern to accommodate her ample bosoms without being too revealing or uncomfortable. I am usilng a pale, lemony yellow, wosted yarn from Plymouth. Not only because it is a lovely versitle yarn, but I do have a good amount of it in my stash. I’ve already cast on and have started the ribbing. I will post an update after the show tonight. Again, the invitation still stands if anyone else would like to join me in my quest to help out a fellow sister in need. Thanks!

Knit a Sweater for Ms. New York, (AKA Tiffany Pollard)

Hey Everyone,

I just had a thought, would anyone join me in a sweater drive for Ms. New York, AKA Tiffany Pollard? We could make the sweaters and then ship them to the VH1 studios so she has something more "appropriate" to wear when she is meeting her men friends?

Now I am not even going to front: I love watching her show. In fact, I plan on watching the I Love New York marathon this Saturday (Oct 6) and the first episode of the new season, which starts Monday (Oct. 8) but I think it would be so much fun to give that sista a sweater. So, maybe, this time when she meets a man, he can look her in her eyes instead of...well, you know. Of course she could also use a skirt or a pair of pants but hit me back and let me know what you think. Thanks!

Ron proposed on Friday, I am officially an engaged woman! Now I can start working on my wedding afghan.
I plan on using this pattern from Interweave. Has anyone ever used it? I will provide updates as I make progress. Thanks!
